MY LIFE CHANGED WHEN I STARTED TO FOCUS ON STRONG NOT SKINNY
After spending years as a dancer, where there was always pressure to be thin, and I myself very insecure and uncomfortable in my skin. It was only after I met my now husband Sheldon, a personal trainer, who introduced me to strength training that helped me feel strong, powerful and confident in my body. Since then my passion has grown to helping others find their confidence and love for their bodies, by becoming a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. My methods are education based and focus on empowering you to make healthy choices that are sustainable for your lifestyle. With over 7 years of experience teaching group classes and private sessions, I provide safe & effective workouts that are functional and fun!
Sheldon has now joined me in the Body by Jojo community by participating in live and recorded classes, assisting with workout program design, and offering a demonstration of different modifications in classes.

Sheldon is making a comeback to the fitness industry as the Body by Jojo's CMO - Chief Modifying Officer. After an 8-year career as a Personal Trainer, Sheldon now works in IT Consulting but you can catch him in the signature class series as Jojo's demo guy and works behind the scenes of the platform.
Jamie, @jyaks, is a certified barre instructor, strength coach and pre & post-natal specialist. Jamie's energy and enthusiasm for movement and life help motivate her clients and keep them smiling when those muscles are burning! Jamie focuses on proper alignment, form and technique.
Timea, @the.urban.healer, is a Reiki Master and Mentor. Timea helps our members shed shame, struggles and release trauma as they fulfill their soul’s purpose, step into alignment and live a life they love. She has a variety of meditations on the platform to enjoy to help you focus on having a strong mindset.
Tricia has extensive theoretical and practical experience in yoga, pilates and dance. Tricia brings energy, focus, and a deep understanding of body awareness to each class. Her classes are designed to enhance student’s lives physically and mentally, in a comfortable, friendly, fun and secure environment.
Blythe is a certified pilates and yoga instructor and has been teaching yoga on the Body by Jojo membership since July 2020. Her classes provide a space for people to focus on self-care through movement. Blythe's practice will leave you feeling strong and accomplished with a peaceful state of mind.
Sydney, @sculptwithsyd, is a yoga and barre instructor from Toronto. Her classes focus on introspection so members can honour their bodies and move in a way that feels right to them. Sydney’s background in dance and fitness brings a balance of fluid movement and athleticism to her yoga classes.
